The K1000 ELITE includes both modes, as found in most competitive cameras, but has also added the exclusive THOUSAND-PLUS FIRE MODE to give firefighters pure image quality in environments with scenes exceeding one thousand degrees. Scenes wherein other cameras typically experience saturation or whiteout. This added measure of safety is essential especially when conditions are approaching near flashover conditions.
